His duties include consulting on legal and regulatory environment in which the local government's records are created, managed and destroyed, including application of retention control schedules. He manages a document imagining lab where records are converted to the formats they need to be in to meet the business needs of elected officials, including paper document imaging and microfilming. He's been certified as a specialist in electronic records management by the Association for Information and Image Management (AIIM) since 2006.
