SPEAKER
MICHAEL E. STEEN is a Technical Director with Beason & Nalley, Inc. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Wichita State University and a Master's Degree in Public Administration from Central Michigan University. He is a CPA in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- Michael provides Government contract consulting services to government contractors on cost accounting, regulatory compliance and DCAA audits. Prior to joining Beason & Nalley, Mr. Steen was a member of the Senior Executive Service (SES) serving as DCAA’s Regional Director in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Prior to his retirement in 2007, he had the overall management responsibility for annual audits of approximately $25B performed by approximately 800 agency auditors.
- Since joining Beason & Nalley in June 2007, Mike has developed and presented training and seminars on Government contracts compliance to various clients including National Contract Management Association, American Conference Institute, and Federal Publications. He co-authors Beason & Nalley's Monthly Government Contracts Insights newsletter.
