About The Speaker
David Ngo has been employed by The New School since May 2017 as Associate Provost. David is also employed by BOBD Consulting Group, LLC since December 2016 as Vice President & Chief Operating Officer. He is also a Co-Principal Investigator on a research award since January 2016.
In the past, David has worked at the University of Texas - Southwestern Medical Center as the Assistant Vice President of Sponsored Programs Administration. He also has worked at the University of Wisconsin - Madison's Office of Research and Sponsored Programs, serving as: Managing Officer, University Effort Administrator/ECRT Manager, Senior Grants & Contracts Specialist and Grants & Contracts Specialist.
David has knowledge and experience in advancing, promoting and facilitating the research, education, patient care and outreach missions of universities through supporting and administering extramurally sponsored projects.
David holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Economics and Industrial Engineering from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. He also holds a Master's of Business Administration degree from Cardinal Stritch University. In 2009, David graduated from the National Council of University Research Administrators' Leadership Development Institute. In 2013, David graduated from the National Council of University Research Administrators' Executive Leadership Program.
